Nicky Hambleton-Jones visits Large & Large Opticians

Fashion stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones made a special visit to Large & Large Opticians in St George's Walk, Waterlooville for an event day at their practice.
Trudy and Rupert Large were the winners of a recent window display competition featuring Nicky's exclusive eyewear collection.
Out of all U.K. entries their creative use of graphics are what caught the judges' eyes and made them the unanimous winners.
Angela Kennedy, style director from Woman and Home magazine and one of the judges for the competition was especially impressed with their artistic flair noting how 'they have captured an international fashion feel and synergy with the product'.
On the day attendees were treated to fantastic frame style advice from Nicky, frame giveaways and a special sneak peek of several new models which will be released in 2011.
Nicky drove down from London for the day and enjoyed chatting with customers about their spectacles.
'I've had a really good day. Customers have been coming in and saying they look dreadful in glasses.
'But after showing them what they can look like, they say "this feels great".
'That's definitely been a highlight.'
